Day 508 - 342lbs

Made to the gym first thing in the morning, boy was it cold! We have had a cold snap lately and it was in the single digits. I tried a new program on the elliptical and it was basically a 45 degree hill very challenging. I did 57:30 because the new program I used was tuned for 27:30 and then I did the interval program for the other 30 minutes.

Drank my juice in the morning and a salad for lunch. I did have a few snow caps because they were sitting out in our break room and I do have a chocolate problem. Inalso was very hungry today so I ate a lean cuisine sandwich. 

Before I left to go ubering I ate an Annie's frozen burrito. So it was kind of a bad day food wise. I just had pasta and two pieces of garlic bread. I am going to have a cup of hot chocolate. I feel like I would be ok if in could either cut out the burrito or the lean cuisine sandwich. 

Today I also spent a few hours ubering and made $40 in about an hour and a half. It is really pretty sweet thing. I really hope they don't make it illegal. I have also decided to weight myself in the morning and post it in the title.

Day 509 - 350lbs

 509 days to go and I am happy to say that I mostly followed the plan. I woke up at 5:45 am instead of 5:30 and went to the gym.  I continue to under estimate how long it takes me to get to the gym. I wanted to spend 60 minutes on the elliptical trainer. The problem is that When I first wake up I am not the most coherent person so it takes me a while to get my shoes on figure out what I did with my keys ect. So anyway as we knew we are going to have to tweak my day slightly. Basically tomorrow I am setting the alarm for 5:15 which gives me the option to hit snooze one time and still waking up at 5:30 and getting the full hour from the gym and having enough time to get home, shower, get ready and drop Cj off at the train on the way to work.  I also just finished making my juice for tomorrow.  

So everything started good I had 3 cups of coffee, I would like that to be reduced to 2 cups.  I drank my juice and then had a salad around one. I did cheat a little this afternoon around 4 or 4:30 I was very hungry and we don't eat dinner until around 7:30. So I had a sandwich from Avanti, a service that our workplace has on site. I did however do a little ubering only got one fare before Cj was ready to get picked up. I did my juicing for tomorrow. Feeling good like I might be able to make this work.

Gotta Start Now!

So in the last few days a few things have come to a head and forced me to realize that I need to get serious now.  I am getting married 510 days and I am at 350 an all time high for me.  I am terrified of getting married at this weight and have that in our pictures forever.  I want to get as fit as I can before that time.  

One thing I stepped on the scale for the post holiday weight in and the scale said 350 lbs and that is disgraceful.  I have been slowly sneaking up over the years and now I just gained 20 lbs over holiday vacation.  This has been a number of issues, for one I fell down some stairs and seriously injured my shoulder so for 2 weeks I couldn't really do anything.   

For one I turned 30 and said "I am going to get in shape."  Then I was traveling for work and after that I would get serious, that was followed by stress at work and many many other reasons for why today was special and I could just cheat a little bit.  Which lead to more cheating.  I have decided to write this to force myself to face the facts every day about what I did in the previous 24 hours.  

Initially the plan is going to be going to the gym in the morning and doing 60 minutes on the elliptical machine and then go to work.  I will have juice from the previous night at work, and I will buy a salad for lunch.  After work drive for Uber until Cj gets home then we can cook dinner and relax for the night.  I am looking forward to trying it tomorrow 5:30 am from here on out.  I will post how it goes tomorrow.
